Zimbabwe’s Africa Big game camp Sentinel and Mulumba Lodge on Wape are more than just very comfortable African Hunting camps.The three safari hunting guest chalets have tubs and walk in showers, hot and cold running water of course, flush toilets, and electricity. Each room is even equipped with a hair dryer for the ladies. The Rock Camp is hidden and tucked into the rocks in an eco friendly way. Mulumba is more lodge style on the banks of the seasonal Mulumba River. Mulumba’s three guest rooms are powered by a 24 hour solar system. Daily maid service at both camps will keep your room clean, and your laundry will be done for you each day. All the Rock Camp chalets have their own verandas with great views. Both the Rock Camp & Mulumba Lodge have common areas with a fire pits, where you will gather to ward off the evening chill, and relive the day’s excitement. If the moon is dark, you will be treated to the best star gazing in the world. If you are looking for a family hunting package in Africa you need not look any further. Unless you are hunting a single species the camp & lodge are booked on an “exclusive use” basis.
The dining room is nearby, and is covered, but open to facilitate game viewing. From my dining room chair, I have seen everything, from elephants and eland, to a 60″ Kudu. Sentinel is situated in the heart of game country, and even while in camp you will see game at the waterhole all day long!
